In Christ Alone (Brian Littrell)

Writer(s): Donald A. Koch, Andrew Shawn Craig
Copyright: New Spring Publishing Inc. (1991)
Original Key: Eb (D with Capo 1)

Intro:
D A G
D A G

Verse 1:
           D
In Christ alone will I glory
       A Bm G
Though I could pride myself in battles won
              D
For I’ve been blessed beyond measure
    A Bm A
And by His strength alone I’ll overcome
Em Bm
Oh, I could stop and count successes
              A G
like diamonds in my hands
          Em Bm
But those trophies could not equal
       G A
to the grace by which I stand

Chorus:
           G D/F#
In Christ alone I place my trust
            Em A D
And find my glory in the power of the cross
         G A/G F#m Bm
In every victory let it be said of me
   Em C A
My source of strength, My source of hope
           D
Is Christ alone

Verse 2:
In Christ alone do I glory
For only by His grace I am redeemed
For only His tender mercy
Could reach beyond my weakness to my need
And now I seek no greater honor
In just to know Him more
And to count my gains but losses
To the glory of my Lord

Chorus (Final):
B A E/G#
In Christ alone I place my trust
            F#m B E
And find my glory in the power of the cross
         A B/A G#m C#m
In every victory let it be said of me
   F#m D B
My source of strength, My source of hope
           E
Is Christ alone

  1. Mostly used in classic rock music, power chords can be used in progressive, metal and other forms of rock music. You may be able to play a few power chords but to put them all together and actually sound good; it will take practice and accuracy. Guitar chords
